SELFIE ADDICTION KILLS SEVEN IN KANPUR!!

Anything within a limit is good but when it becomes an addiction, it could become fatal easily. That is what happened in Kanpur where clicking a selfie lead to the tragic drowning of a youth along with his six friends, in the river Ganga. The incident happened on Wednesday when the boys while trying to save one another, drowned in the river, said the police.
As per the news reports, SSP Shalabh Mathur told, “The incident happened when six youths from Juhi area and one (Shivam) from Colonelganj area of the district had gone to take a bath in the river after rainfall.”
While bathing in the river, Shivam was clicking a selfie and lost balance. He started drowning in the river.
IBN quoted SP (West) Sachindra Patel, “Maqsood tried to save Shivam but he too lost his balance due to the high water level and high current following heavy rainfall.”
Seeing Shivam and Maqsood drowning in the river, all other friends jumped one after another to save the others but their attempts failed, said the SP.
The team of divers that was deployed to save the youths could recover only their bodies after two hours. The bodies of the boys were sent to Medical College Hospital where they were declared dead by the doctors.
All seven dead were aspiring youngsters who had a bright future ahead but lost their life to addiction. Police identified the dead as Sachin Gupta (21), Bholu Tiwari (20), Rohit (20), Shivam (19), Maqsood (31), Bhola (16) and Satyam (24).
